The South Georgia Federal Gang Task Force reports those arrested, Dexter Greer, Jovian Quinones, and Darrell Smith, Jr., affiliate themselves with gangs.

Under a new law passed July 1, authorities can give active gang members increased sentences for crimes they commit.

"You would never expect it. Out here it's just quiet. Nobody ever bothers everybody. Pretty much most of the time this is what you see. It's pretty, so for something like this to go on it was pretty much a shock to the neighborhood I think," said neighbor Randy Kemp.

All three men are charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
