Concerns about the H1N1 virus continue to rise in Thomasville.

A doctor of natural health has decided to ease some of those concerns by hosting a lunch and learn series.

Today residents gathered and asked unlimited questions about how to prevent the swine flu and other diseases.

Health officials say there is no cure for the H1N1 virus, but there are vaccines that can treat the symptoms.

Dr. Charlene Parrish says, "Why should we wait for a vaccine that won't even cover this strain of the flu to be created before we do something to prevent the virus. The time is now".

Natural health doctors are recommending black elderberry extract as the best natural way to prevent and minimize a virus.
