Employees from the Archbold Women's Center were a centerpiece of Breast Cancer Awareness at Wal-Mart Friday, urging women to get their mammograms.
Starting at 8:30AM, the women set up a booth and gave free information to women about mammograms, in honor of National Mammogram Day. People could enjoy things like giveaways, door prizes, car magnets, and more.
Judy Murphy, the supervisor of the Archbold Women's Center says, "We've been giving away $25 off a mammogram coupons, and we have fliers that tell about financial assistance if you don't have help from insurance. We have programs you can apply for to help you."
Information about financial assistance for mammograms and other annual checkups are always available at the Archbold Women's Center.
