Nancy Buhler's fourth grade classroom at WT Moore Elementary is a vision of red, white and blue.
Students are learning about voting, and the power and responsibilities that come with it.
Buhler's lessons are teaching her students about the candidates and their issues. Her class is decorated with poems, worksheets, and cartoons. She said the visuals help students see the big picture when it comes to voting.
"If you hadn't learned about it before you're 18, you might not know how and you might be kind of confused so it's good for us to be able to learn before we're old enough to actually vote," said Leah Langston, learning about voting.
Leon County students will join their parents to cast their own vote for the November 7 elections.
