A California man is accused of possibly blinding his four year old son in gruesome fashion.
Police say 34-year-old Angelo Mendoza bit an eyeball out of his four year old son's face and ate it.
The boy had numerous bites to his hands and his eyes were swollen shut.
Doctors said the boy's left eye and muscle were missing; his other eye is mutilated beyond repair.
The police report said Mendoza appeared to be on PCP.
Mendoza was arrested on charges of aggravated mayhem, torture, and cruelty to a child. Police say the toddler is now in the custody of child protective services.
Mendoza is due in court Wednesday.
His bail is set at one million dollars.

that guy shouldnt die, he should feel the pain his son had felt at the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he should have have his eye riped out and forced to eat it. then he should be kicked in the balls so hard they fall off! ooooo and drop him in the OCEAN where the sharks can eat him!!!!!! no offence to other minor viewers.
this man should be hung to death,if he was leading miserable life and couldn't handle it why did he give birth to a child he couldn't care of. those lost eyes will keep reminding the child of the animal he lived with. i have a 4 and 5 yr old boys too i dont know how could he even think of harming his child.. children are so precious. will be in my prayers.. bless you.
That is just sick. I mean yeah - child abuse happens - we can't stop it - but eating your child's eye? That's off the scale. HE DESERVES TO DIE. THE RETCHED ANIMAL!
