Saturday, many residents enjoyed the festivities for free.
It was "Youth and Seniors Day." From noon to 2 p.m. children under the age of 18 years and seniors over 65 got a free pass to the fair.
For some it was a great incentive to get on the rides, and for others it was just a nice surprise.
"Save some money, absolutely, no, I think that's wonderful for them, whoever runs this, it's a lovely thing for them to do," said Jane Anderson, who got a free day at the fair.
If you are looking for a free day of fun, you have one more chance. Children and senior citizens can head to the fair next Saturday from noon until two.
