Anyone convicted of a felony cannot vote, and Donald Coley, Jerry Daniels, and Carlos Emanuel are all on probation, serving sentences for felony convictions.
Officials say when they registered to vote they lied about their criminal history.
Thomas County resident Maxey Powell said, "I don't like them cheating. Obviously they made a mistake, and now they're going to have to live with it."
The three men are now charged with false swearing.
