Authorities say a DeLand woman was found bound and gagged in a car trunk nearly 24 hours after she says she was abducted.
A man heard 33-year-old Yadira Rivera in the trunk and helped free her yesterday afternoon. The man noticed the keys were still in the ignition and used them to free Rivera.
She's being treated for dehydration at a Volusia County hospital.
Seminole County authorities say Rivera pulled her car into Wayside Park about 2:45 Monday. That's when a man carrying a gun apparently forced her into the passenger seat of her car.
Sheriff officials say the man began driving and at some point stopped, tapped Rivera's hands and mouth and put her in the trunk. Rivera doesn't believe the man drove very far from where she was abducted.
No arrests have been made.
