A Tallahassee woman is Life Flighted after a morning crash. It happened on Horseshoe Plantation Road just before nine Wednesday morning.
Deputies say a woman driving a green pickup lost control on the newly graded road, slammed into the embankment and spun out. She had to be cut out from beneath the dashboard and sent to the hospital by helicopter.
A Tallahassee Memorial Hospital spokeswoman says 33-year-old Sherry Bivens was treated and released this afternoon. Luckily, another plantation employee found Bivens, trapped and screaming, and called for help.
