Tallahassee Memorial Health Care Volunteers Receive Grant

The crew of volunteers worked at the Idea House and The St. Joe Company decided to reward the group by giving the volunteers their portion of the proceeds. An $18,000 check was presented at a brunch honoring the dedicated volunteers. Mark O'Bryant, the CEO of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital says, "It's going to be put to good use. It's going to an ultrasound machine that will be housed in our family practice residency program. Our family practice residency is a long standing service to the community where we train physicians, but also provide a tremendous amount of support to people in our community." The auxiliary consists of 275 active volunteers who dedicate their time to help out in the community.
