A gunshot was fired into a Tallahassee home Monday, and luckily it didn't hit anyone inside.
It happened on Cool View Drive near Lake Jackson late Monday night.
Deputies say someone fired one bullet into the home, piercing the living room wall, and then sped away.
They're still trying to figure out who fired the shot and why.
"What is scary about this for all of us is once a bullet is shot at a house, there's no telling where it could go. There could be a person standing immediately on the other side of the wall, it could go into a crowded room, there's no telling where it will stop and it could even strike people it was not intended to hit," said Leon County Sheriff's Office spokesman Chris Chase.
Chase says this shooting was not random.
Detectives have interviewed several people already, but so far no arrests have been made.
