Memorial Day to Labor Day.
For many, those are the days of barbecue and relaxing by the pool, but for teens, it marks the 100 deadliest days on the roadway.
More teens are killed in automobile accidents in the summer months than any other time of year.
Trips to school quickly turn into trips to the coast and piling too many teens in a car can be dangerous.
"You have two or three teenagers, we all tend to start talking, laughing, talking about the latest movie and our boyfriends and girlfriends and we're not paying as much attention to driving," said Bobby Bacon the President of the Earl Bacon Insurance Agency.
Just last week, three teens were killed in an accident in Jacksonville.
There were nine high school students packed into a Ford Explorer. Only one was wearing a seat belt.
"In fact, Florida, on July 1st, will make it a primary seat belt law for all citizens to buckle up, not just our teens, which it has been for years," said OFC David McCranie, Tallahassee Police Spokesman.
While buckling up is important, experts say it's distracting habits that are leading to deadly crashes.
More and more folks are texting, talking and eating while driving, which can be especially detrimental for inexperienced drivers.
Insurance agents and police recommend parents lead by example and encouraging teens to solely concentrate on driving while behind the wheel.
