Officers believe the break-ins occurred between seven and nine Thursday morning.
The first burglary happened on Smith Avenue, not long after officers dispatched to a hair salon on East Jackson.
They say the crooks broke the glass door at both businesses, and then rummaged through desks and drawers.
LT Rachelle Denmark with the Thomasville Police Department said, "So far nothing of real value has been stolen. It's just the damage to the window and the inconvenience of having to come out on Thanksgiving Day for the owners."
If you saw anything Thursday morning, Thomasville police are asking you to call Crime Stoppers at 229-227-3305.
