A murder trial is expected to begin today in Tallahassee for an Orlando man charged in the deaths of two people.

In September 2004, the bodies of 21-year-old Jamilla Byers, a FAMU student, and 22-year-old Bryan Dyson were found in a car at Tallahassee's Prince Murat Motel.

Ryan Hubbard was later arrested and accused of killing the couple. If convicted, prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty for Hubbard.

Police believe the shooting was drug related. Hubbard was arrested two months after the crime at his Orlando home.
