If you're mailing gifts to loved ones for the holidays, you better get to the post office soon if you want your gifts to arrive on time.
The deadline to send most international and military packages is December 4. And to send packages in the states, you'll want to get them in the mail in the next two weeks if you want to send them regular mail.
The postal service says ever since thanksgiving they've seen an increase in the number of greeting cards and packages.
"It's always better to start early and mail early so the customer and the intended party are not disappointed at Christmas and the postal service wants to make sure we deliver."
The postal service will deliver on Christmas Day but you will pay the price. After December 13, you'll have to use express or priority mail.
