Doctors informed attendees about the leading cause of central vision loss in seniors and new treatments such as Lucentis to help restore vision.
"I've had it for a couple of years but with these new drugs that have come out it has saved my vision by having a shot in my eye," said Elanore Hale.
Doctors recommend that everyone should check their vision daily. One way is to cover one eye and check for blurs and black swirls in the other eye.
