Tallahassee, FL - The Tallahassee Orchid Society held their 48th Annual Show & Sale this Saturday and Sunday at the Florida Department of Agriculture Doyle Connor Building.
They said more than 1,000 people came through the doors to view the beautiful horticulture and purchase orchids. The Society said they're are more than 30,000 species of orchids and there's a variety for everyone.
"Different plants grow all up the east coast of the United States they grow down in tropical areas and so there's a little bit of something for everyone," said Carlos Fernandez, Tallahassee Orchid Society President.
Also at the show there was artwork for sale and live painting by artists from La Moyne and St. George Island.
