There are 364 days to go until next Christmas, but already shoppers are buying up their holiday decorations.
Most of this year's seasonal decorations were 50 to 75 percent off Tuesday.
Stores opened early and all day shoppers filled their carts with wrapping paper, Christmas trees and other clearance holiday decorations.
"I'm buying because I'm saving money and this is my first year in several years that I'm out shopping and I've found things that I didn't have and I bought it," said Rebecca Owens, who says she's saving a couple hundred dollars on next year's decorations.
Shoppers say discounted items give them incentive to spend. Retailers say they love it too so they can clear out their holiday merchandise.
