Episcopalians Exercise Patients

Episcopalians in Tallahassee are exercising patience this week. This comes as the Anglican Communion prepares to meet in London to discuss the controversial election of a gay bishop in New Hampshire.

At the Church of the Advent in Tallahassee, Pastor Bob Coon says his congregation agrees with a request by conservative Anglicans to realign the American church. "And also the same sex unions, we are not for that at all. Holy scripture is being trounced upon, it's something we need to stand up for," said Pastor Coon.

Pastor Coon just returned from a three-day meeting in Dallas, where conservatives signed a declaration denouncing the denomination's growing acceptance of gay relationships.
