ATM users beware. Someone has tampered with surveillance cameras at a pair of Tallahassee banks. Both are on Mahan Drive.
The banks affected are the Capital City Bank on the corner of Weems Road and the Farmers and Merchants Bank branch on the corner of Riggins Road.
A Leon County sheriff's spokesman says at one bank someone taped over the camera and at the other they put a mirror over it.
Investigators fear whoever did it was up to no good, plotting a robbery or perhaps some type of fraud.
Deputies are urging ATM customers to be especially cautious and alert. Leon County deputies have notified banks throughout the Big Bend about the camera capers.
