Teens take a few hours out of their Saturday to learn how to save lives by getting their certification in CPR.
Staff from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital coach the girls.
Organizers say the CPR class is a great opportunity to get the youth involved in the community.
"Keep them motivated and interested in the community, this way they are going to use this certification to help them with baby sitting and also if they ever are put into a position where they need to do CPR they have this knowledge", said Felecia Battle-Jones, Delta Sigma Theta.
Organizers say many of the teens are at risk for getting in trouble, this class keeps them busy for a few hours while they gain some life saving lessons.
