Two suspects involved in a major drug bust in Brooks County have been denied bond.

Alvarado Torres, 19, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and
Fernando Torres, 40, of Pearson, Georgia, were arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana on July 2nd.

Sheriff's deputies say they discovered a 25 pound block of compressed marijuana in the back of the Ford pick-up truck the men were traveling in.

Authorities say they pulled the men over after they noticed the truck weaving on Highway 76.

The men were en route to Tallahassee.

Authorities estimate the drugs have a street value of $36,000.
