For the first time, two of the largest local career centers teamed up to help job seekers.
Jubilee Job-Link and Workforce Plus teamed up for today's event called "Opportunities 2007 Career Bowl."
The job fair at the Leon County Civic Center featured more than 100 businesses and organizations promoting jobs and services.
All types of industries were represented, including financial, medical, customer service technical, clerical and many more, and job seekers are poured in, some considering new career fields.
There were all kind of incentives to get out there and search for a career advancement like free parking and door prizes .
Organizers say people were waiting outside at 8:30 in the morning, 30 minutes before the job fair started, and they had about 200 people in the first 45 minutes.
