Folks and their horses lined up to strut their stuff as the Leon County Horsemen's Association held the first practice show of the season.
The show featured a judge who critiqued equestrians on several styles of riding including halter, english, and western.
Riders of all ages were invited to get some advice and lessons on improving technique. Danielle is a young equestrian who enjoys the criticism. "It helps because that's mainly the things I'm going to do. I always practice them and just keep on doing it so when I get into the show it will be really easy.
Equestrians and the public are invited to any of the horse shows which happen the first Saturday of every month during the show season.
