It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at Lake Ella in Tallahassee. That's where many jolly revelers, the four-legged kind, could be found welcoming the holidays.
Saturday marked the 8th Annual Santa Paws walk where pups of all ages drag their owners to the park for a good cause to raise money for their homeless furry friends.
“I think it’s a great event to help stray animals and get them out of the shelter. It's great spirit among the community, everyone is having a great time,” said dog owner Mary Portwine.
All proceeds from the Santa Paws walk goes to Tallahassee's animal shelter and the St. Francis Wildlife Association. With the flip of one switch, downtown Tallahassee became a whole lot brighter.
