Authorities say the husband and wife who lived at 6400 Towhee Drive in Clyattville did not have a history of domestic violence.

They also confirmed that police had never been called to the home before.

But that all changed Sunday evening when police say Dondra Bullock, 32, shot his wife Angela Bullock, 35, six times, following an altercation.

He is now charged wtih felony murder.

The Bullock's two boys, ages 5 and 9, were home at the time.

They're currently being cared for by a family member.

Authorities have charged Dondra Bullock, 32, with murdering his wife, Angela Bullock, 35.

This murder, like most others in the area, stemmed from domestic violence.

In this case, Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Prine says a Bullock shot and killed his wife Sunday evening following an argument at their home in South Lowndes County.

Prine says Bullock shot his wife six times while their two children were at home.

Following the shooting, the Bullock called 911 for help.

The operator talked him into surrendering.

Authorities tell Eyewitness News the Bullock surrendered when they got to the house, he was taken into custody and is charged with murder.

The children, both under age ten, are currently being taken care of by a family member.

The Sheriff says the children weren't hurt, but it is not clear whether or not they saw or heard the shooting.
