Elisa Rollins and Thomas Dixon are both from Tallahassee.
Thomas County sheriff's deputies say they've made their way through South Georgia to Alabama, writing bad checks.
They've hit stores such as Lowes, Bobby Dollar, and Southern Power Sports in Thomasville.
Deputies say they've tracked 10 checks so far, totaling more than $12,000.
Inv. Jason Shoudel with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office said, "They're driving a newer model red Chevrolet, Z71 with a black enclosed cargo trailer on the back. We're not sure of the tag number; there's a dealer drive out tag on the trailer."
Deputies are also dealing with a separate group of people involved in writing bad checks throughout South Georgia, but say these people are harder to trace because they're using fake identification.
