Local Christmas Day Babies

Just after midnight, Santa presented a bouncing baby girl to Perla Contreras at TMH Thursday morning, little Melissa weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces. And at capital regional medical center two other babies made their debuts as stocking stuffers.

These proud parents say it's the best present they've ever received.

"It feels great a gift from God to have her here and it's the greatest gift that he can ever give me in life,” says proud new mom Perla Contreras.

"Out of all the gifts in the world this is the most beautiful gift I got out of the Christmas tree since I've been living, I couldn't ask for no more,” says new mom Shawntell Leonard.

Baby Michael Andrews Junior weighed in at 5 pounds 5 ounces. Michael shares his birthday with Noelle Butler who weighed in at 6 pounds 13 ounces.

Santa also made a special delivery at Archbold Hospital in Georgia bringing little Kenya Yvonn Miller to her parents; she weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces.
