Search efforts for a missing Valdosta man have been temporarily suspended.

47-year-old Keith Rocheleau went missing more than three weeks ago. And after five organized searches, authorities have temporarily stopped scouring the woods.

The Brooks County Sheriff's Office says it's waiting for help from the state and for the stormy weather to subside.

"I kinda feel hopeless now," said Lucas Rocheleau, son of Keith Rocheleau. "If they're not gonna search because of the weather, they obviously don't want us out there. I guess I'm expected to sit here and wait on something. And that's really the hardest part---still waiting, waiting, and waiting."

Investigators say they're doing everything they can to find him

It's a shame that more hasn't been done in finding Keith. Publicity was slow in coming about his disappearance and delays have caused any potential evidence to possibly being lost. More searches and volunteers are needed in helping bring closer to the Rocheleau family.
