An Apalachicola woman will spend the next nine years behind bars for transferring more than $200,000 of his money into her accounts.

A mobile home park owner faces nine years in prison for stealing from an elderly man who lived in one of the mobile homes.

Seventy-nine-year-old Pearl Westmoreland of Apalachicola was convicted of transferring more than $200,000 of an elderly man's assets into her accounts.

Investigators say the victim gave Westmoreland authority to write his checks. She now must pay back $218,000 to the victim's estate.
