The mother of a Texas teen is on her way to Tallahassee to pick up her child.
Twenty-nine-year-old Gil Raimundo Cancel Comas is accused of driving to Texas to pick up a 13-year-old girl he met on line and bringing her back to his home in Tallahassee.
Early Thursday, Texas authorities put a hold on Cancel-Comas, meaning he won't be released from jail until they can come to get him.
"This man says he was trying to counsel her. There's a lot of them out there trying to counsel them and of course, get them in bed too," said Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell. "I hope that parents will realize this is going on. You wouldn't let your kid go to a park where child predators hung out, so why would you let them chat on the Internet without supervision?"
The Texas teen's mother says that she has already removed the computer from their home.
