Boy Scout Gives Back to Community

One good deed deserves another. That's the message of one local boy.

Kevin Conley, a Tallahassee Boy Scout is giving back to the Leon Animal Service Center, as part of a project to earn his Eagle Scout honors.

Conley is constructing a gazebo with the help of fellow Boy Scouts and building contractors.

Conley got his dog from the shelter and felt this was a good way to thank them.

"I just wanted to give back to them for everything they did for me and my dog, I just wanted to do something more than what most people have done, and that's why I picked the gazebo", said Kevin Conley.

Conley spent a year raising money through a variety of fund raisers.

Staff at the animal center say the gazebo will offer a nice place for visitors to relax with the animals.
