MIAMI (AP) - Baptist Children's Hospital officials say the world’s youngest gestational age baby has survived there and will be going home soon.

The baby, who was not identified, was 21 weeks and six days old when she was born on October 24.

Hospital officials say she is also the world's fourth smallest baby, weighing 284 grams, just under 10 ounces.

After nearly four months in the neonatal intensive care unit, the healthy baby will be going home early this week.
