A routine traffic stop landed three men in jail for possession of illegal drugs.
Quincy police discovered 18 grams of powder cocaine, several high tech scales, ruffies, crack cocaine, and petty cash totaling nearly $1,000 after a patrolman finds three individuals acting suspiciously in a local apartment complex.
Authorities say drugs are all too common in Quincy these days.
Chief Gerald McSwain said, "It's always a good thing when we can remove drugs out of the community. Those are just some of the drugs that will not be dispersed among our young people. Normally, that's who end up with it."
For now investigators are not releasing the suspect's names or the location of the bust because the investigation is still ongoing.
