Tallahassee Community College, along with the Chamber of Commerce, was working closely with the airline to open a customer contact center.
The center would have been located on the campus of TCC. In the end, the company has decided to stay in its home state of Georgia.
"This community did a great job in getting into position to win this project. What we did was we pulled together to entice the company," says Sue Dick of the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
TCC officials say they are disappointed in the decision, but there's still a chance the airline may do some of its training at the school.
