Peacock, 40, owned and operated Orchard Meadows Assisted Living Facility.
Investigators with the Florida Attorney General’s Office determined that Peacock diverted at least 12 monthly veteran disability checks, worth more than $11,000, to his own business accounts.
The checks were received by Orchard Meadows after the resident had moved from the facility.
Peacock is charged with 13 counts of grand theft, and one count of exploiting a disabled adult, all third-degree felonies.
If convicted of all charges, he faces up to 70 years in prison and a fine of $70,000.
Peacock is currently being held at the Madison County Jail.
