Second Helicopter Crashes in Georgia

Another helicopter has gone down in Georgia.

The chopper crashed Monday morning at an airport about 30 miles east of Atlanta. WSB Television is reporting the chopper went down just after takeoff from the Covington Municipal Airport.

The FAA says the helicopter got about ten feet off the ground and then slammed into the grass.

A student pilot was the only one on board, and he suffered head injuries. He's listed in stable condition.

On Saturday another helicopter crashed east of Atlanta, killing the two people on board.
