Crime Stoppers: Sexual Assault

We have new information involving the sexual assault of one of the FSU co-eds raped over the weekend.

In the early morning hours of February 1 the victim was walking in the pedestrian tunnel near Pensacola and Stadium when she says she was approached by a suspect who forced her to the ground and raped her.

"She was coming through the tunnel through FSU campus and when she got into the tunnel, a black man approached her on a bike, he asked her if she needed any help, she said no, at that time, he grabbed her and raped her there in the tunnel which happened very quickly and then got back on his bike and rode away, she believes he went towards Pensacola Street," says Rhonda Scott.

The suspect is described as a black male, 14-20 years of age. He had a light goatee. The victim told police her attacker was wearing a bright orange jacket at the time of the attack.

If you can identify this suspect and tell police where he can be found, call Crime Stoppers at 891-HELP.
