Future entrepreneurs got the chance to learn from the pros at the third annual entrepreneurship day at FSU.
The College of Business holds the event every year so students can learn from successful entrepreneurs from across the southeast.
Students were able to get advice from those who have been in their shoes.
Many of them learned that even in a tough economy, it only takes determination follow a dream.
"When the economy is better you have a tendency to go more towards corporate and a career that you can always depend on this way I think this is the time entrepreneurial spirits really thrive", says Sean Flood, president of Gotcha Group.
"Having dreams or having ideas is one thing but actually putting them into fruition is another thing, something that actually proves a lot more difficult, but it's not undoable. I feel like with enough determination and hard work you can really make any idea successful," says Jaquanne Peterson, a student in the entrepreneur group.
Students were reminded to not take no for an answer, and to love what you do.
