An employee of a local sporting goods store is in hot water.

Twenty-four-year-old Bradley Carr is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Kevin's guns and sporting goods, and then selling them on eBay.

Buyers from more than 20 states purchased nearly $43,000 worth of rifle scopes and fishing reels at bargain prices.

"We relied heavily on computer evidence. That gave us a lot of information. It not only showed that theft and sale was occurring, but also helped put us in touch with the victims," said Phil Kiracofe with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

The store's owner, who helped in the investigation, was unavailable for comment on this story. Carr is charged with 51 counts of dealing in stolen property. Bond was set at $25,000.
