A Valdosta burglary victim took the law into his own hands Thursday, hunting down the crooks and holding them at gunpoint until police arrived.
It happened at the Villa Valdos Apartments on East Park Avenue.
A neighbor heard the burglars kick in an upstairs door and called the man whose apartment was burglarized.
He rushed home, tracking down one of the burglars trying to get away on foot.
"I was just mad, you know everybody works hard, you know trying to make an honest living and for someone to just come in and invade your privacy or violate your house, that's bad," says burglary victim Hames Moye.
Lavictory Montgomery has been charged with burglary.
Valdosta Police have issued a warrant for the second burglar's arrest.
