Fatal Accident On Gum Swamp Road
Florida Highway Patrol say a Monticello man driving a 4-wheeler was in a fatal accident.

The following information was provided by Florida Highway Patrol:

Florida Highway Patrol say 54-year-old Joe Felix Jones of Monticello, was driving a Bombardier 4-Wheeler, when he veered onto the shoulder of Gump Swamp Road, causing his vehicle to overturn and collide with a pine tree on Sunday afternoon.

Officials say Jones was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital by Air Medic and later died.

The Jefferson County and Madison County Rescue personnel,Madison County Sheriff's Department and Jefferson County Sheriff's Department assisted on the scene.
