The storm passed through acres of Pine in Cherry Lake, snapping trees in half.
Fierce winds wreaked havoc, destroying 90 percent of the trees, which are grown for a profit.
Now, the owners are left with the task of removing the broken limbs and tree stumps.
Larry Hammock says, "You own land, pay taxes on it; trying to grow a crop of timber wood and it's really a lot of destruction. In just a few minutes it's gone. Not much you can salvage out of it."
Owners say despite the devastation to the crop they're grateful folks who live in the area are alive and well.
