Home Invasion Robbery In Madison County
Madison County Sheriff's Office reports a home invasion robbery.

Madison County Sheriff's Office Press Release:
On Tuesday October 6, at approximately 10pm, a Madison County Sheriff’s Office Deputy received a report of a home invasion robbery with a firearm on Coleman Avenue.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Officers with the Madison Police Department immediately responded to the location.
When officers arrived, the victims disclosed that two black males forced entry into their home at gun point and demanded money. The victims complied and the suspects fled the area.
The victims provided a detailed description of the suspects and Deputy Sheriff Lauth immediately radioed the descriptions to additional responding officers.
A witness that was monitoring the radio frequency also heard the description and observed two black males fitting the description walking at roadside near their residence and notified the Deputies.
Deputy Sheriff Sergeant Dennis Pitts and Madison Police Department Officer Gilbert located the two black males walking at roadside at the intersection of Bunker and Sullivan Street. Deputy Sheriff Pitts and Officer Gilbert confirmed the description and detained the suspects for possible identification.
The two black males were positively identified by the victims and arrested and transported to the Madison County jail. Additional investigations discovered items taken from the victims on the persons of the two black males as well as one subject having cocaine in his possession.
A complete search of the scene and its entirety discovered the firearm at roadside where the two black males were first detained by Deputy Pitts.
Arrested were the following:
-Ezell Stephens, B/M, DOB: 02/04/1984 of Madison Florida. Charged: Home Invasion Robbery while Armed, Possession of Cocaine.
-Roberto Rodrigues, B/M, DOB: 11/24/1990, of Monticello Florida. Charged: Home Invasion Robbery while Armed, Possession of Firearm with altered serial number.
