A 19-year-old is arrested and charged with D.U.I. for crashing a car load of teenagers over the summer.

The crash happened back on June 10th at about 6 in the evening.

Authorities say Chrysten Hudson of Lake City was driving east on 296th Street in Suwannee County when she ran off the road and hit a tree.

All of the passengers in the car were injured, including two 18 year olds, a 17 year old and a 14 year old.

Hudson is also charged with reckless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.

Sorry Bob, there is no law against underage drinking in Florida. I did sone research and any one under 21 is not allowed to buy or possess alcohol. But consumption is not against the law in Florida. They have to be caught with it, but being under 21 and caught drunk is not against the law unless they are driving or break some other law. Go figure.

I thought the legal age to drink was 21. Why isn't she also charged with underage drinking? We have a law, enforce it!

It took 4 months to figure out she was drinking and driving? Why wasn't she charged and taken to jail back in June?
