Republican Bill Otto made the video, which he called the "RedNeck Rap." As Otto raps about Obama, he's wearing a hat that reads, "Opposum POSSUM, the other dark meat."

The video appeared on YouTube and was taken down Thursday by Otto's daughters because they didn't want to read about him being called a racist.

Otto re-posted the video on Friday with a new introduction where he praises the election of Obama. He also deleted the original ending in which he said the words, "Opposum, the other dark meat."

Critics have called the video disturbing and a clear example of racism.

Cows: I find your self-righteousness amusing. You say I deliver my point but fill it with barbs, but your posts are peppered with them quite nicely as well. You question my sources- my eyes, ears, discussions, news, books, etc, the same place everyone else gets their info. Big suprise huh? You ask me questions but skirt the answers by diverting your critisizm to your perception of my personality instead of debating the issue. You say you never questioned me about O's skin color, yet your reply to my question was "you've got to be kidding". As far as supporting O because he's the President, sorry my friend, but I will not blindly follow anyone because of who they are, but you're welcome to. Finally, I'm tiring of this banter with you because it's obvious to me that you are not at all interested in anothers point of view, you're just looking for a squabble on the playground, and contrary to your belief, I'm too mature for that. See you on another post I'm sure. Can hardly wait.

I'm as calm as a Hindu cow, Cow. What's un-American in expecting people to be accountable for themselves, take care of themselves, defend themselves, and expect swift and firm justice? If you interpret what I "spewed" as not supporting the Constitution, then I don't know what to tell you. There was no venom there, although I'm assuming you would have liked there to be, sort of as a self-confirment thing I guess? But no, I'm not spitting mad, just responding to your post. Why DO you question me when I say I don't like the man because of what he represents (or doesn't), not the color of his skin? Why wouldn't I expect him to address solving the huge issues our Country faces? Isn't that what he was elected to do? Isn't that part of the job? Am I missing something here? Hitleresque? Where did that come from? Please, tell me what I said that reminds you of Hitler. No hard feelings here, just not sure where you're coming from... Now you can breath easy too huh?

Ugh. I speed read this story and was like what's the fuss about someone posting a video mocking the President. Then I picked up that the person who posted the video is a Congressman. I think I liked not knowing how racist the world really is especially on a federal level.
