Madison County Man is in Critical Condition After Car Strikes Tree

Florida Highway Patrol says around midnight Saturday night, Gregory Ferrell was traveling eastbound on Captain Buie Rd, when he entered into a curve and ended up on the shoulder of the road.

He overcorrected and reentered the roadway, crossing into the westbound lane. He overcorrected again, and crossed back onto the south shoulder exiting the roadway.

Ferrell struck a large pine tree, and his car came to a stop.
The 48 year old Pinetta man is in critical condition at South Georgia Medical Center.

I've been driving that road for 10 years and it's plenty navigable. IF YOU FOLLOW THE SPEED LIMIT!!
