The Gadsden County Health Department has received H1N1 in the mist (intranasal) and injection (shot) for 2009, we currently have 700 doses.

Why: To Keep Citizens of Gadsden County and the Surrounding Regions Informed
The Gadsden County Health Department has received H1N1 in the mist (intranasal) and injection (shot) for 2009, we currently have 700 doses.
The Gadsden County Health Department will offer the vaccine free of charge to those in the first priority group (see below) at walk-in clinic at 278 Dr. LaSalle Leffall Drive in Quincy, each weekend beginning Saturday, October 24, 2009 and Sunday, October 25, 2009: from 8:00 am- 4:00 pm
Weekly Clinic Hours- Monday and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays – 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

*Dates and times are effective until further notice.
Please note: The live intranasal vaccine is approved for use in healthy (no high risk medical conditions), non-pregnant, person age 2 through 49 and at this time will only be offered to those in the first priority group.

Medical Providers and First Responders with direct medical care responsibility
Pregnant Women
Children ages 6 months to 18 years of age
Young adults ages 19-24
Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months
Adults ages 25 to 64 with health conditions
