Tallahassee police say they now have a murder suspect in custody.
Police say last month 32-year-old Antonio Steele was murdered during an apparent early morning robbery at Okaloosa and Main Streets.
Friends of Steele's say he was waiting for them near a car. Thursday, members of the violent fugitive task force located Mikel Cotton and arrested him.
Police say clues found by the department's forensics unit helped crack this case.
The unit found a cell phone near the crime scene, and ran the fingerprints that led police to Cotton.
Cotton is charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.
