A car accident claims the lives of three people in Georgia Friday evening. The Georgia Highway Patrol says around 8:50 Friday night, Breckney Hamilton of Coolidge, Georgia, was driving south on County Road 34 when she failed to yield and pulled into the path of Crystal Willis of Quitman, Georgia, striking the passenger side of the car.
GHP officials say the car then hit a sign and overturned several times before striking a utility pole. Hamilton and a 12-year-old passenger died in the car. A two-year-old child was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Willis also died in the accident.
A separate crash in Gadsden County claims the life of one. The Florida Highway patrol says Quanerrian Butler lost control of a stolen van going around a curve on County Road 65b. Authorities say Butler was ejected when the car went airborne and hit a tree.
Trione Thomas, who was sitting in the passenger's seat, died at the scene. The other passenger in the car suffered non-life threatening injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol says charges are pending
